Erica has focused her business of Teach Speech toward contracting directly with school districts since June of 2022. She has provided speech and language teletherapy services for student PreK-12 since 2019. Erica has continued her learning in assistive technology, obtaining a post-masters AT certificate from UWM, along with extensive experience in articulation, language, social-pragmatic/emotional regulation, and fluency. Prior to working in teletherapy, Erica worked in Wisconsin schools where she was deeply immersed in the workings of the school as a co-leader of the school PBIS program, Zones of Regulation program, a member of the CPI team, and a student council advisor. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007.
Linda has provided PreK-12 speech-language services via teletherapy since 2017 working in school and homeschool settings. Prior to becoming a teletherapist, she worked in Wisconsin schools with preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as in birth-3. A lifelong learner, Linda has expertise in the areas of articulation, autism, social language, and higher-level language, as well as extensive experience with diagnostics. She believes in using students’ strengths and interests to increase functional communication and support academic growth. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2005.
Tiffany has provided K-8 speech-language teletherapy services since 2022. Prior to joining the teletherapy world, Tiffany was a Speech-Language Pathologist for the Eau Claire Area School District from 2012-2022, serving pre-K through middle school age students. Tiffany takes great pride in building joyfilled sessions that encourage students to stay focused and remain motivated to do their best in speech. She has significant experience working with students with language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs. Tiffany has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2008.
Nikki has experience providing speech and language therapy to students from preschool through 12th grade in both public and private schools. Since 2023, she has adapted her in-person skills to deliver services via teletherapy. Nikki has extensive experience working with children who have articulation, phonological, language, and fluency disorders. She strongly believes in the importance of building rapport with her students and incorporates their unique interests into therapy sessions to make them more engaging and effective. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2011. Nikki is from northeastern Wisconsin, a place she still calls home. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys hiking, photography, golfing, and spending time with her husband, two daughters and her dog, Maisy.
Meg has been providing teletherapy services since 2017 for students PK-12 in Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Before transitioning to teletherapy, Meg worked for several school districts in Wisconsin and Michigan. A speech/language pathologist since 2009, Meg has a rich background in language, speech sound disorders, fluency, and social communication. Meg strives to deliver personalized therapy by integrating current best practices, students' interests, and her years of expertise to empower students in achieving their goals and fostering their personal growth.
Sara started providing teletherapy services in 2016 to students in schools and home-based settings. Her clinical experience includes medical rehabilitation and educationally-focused therapy serving adults and children with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing difficulties. Sara has an interest and additional training in developing students' executive function and self-advocacy skills. Sara considers how a person shares information, how a person takes in information, and communication supports that are useful for them. She uses a supportive problem-solving approach and prioritizes connection with each student to provide a positive learning experience. Sara has been a speech language pathologist since 2006.
Alisha Urban has been working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist since 2019, providing services in school-based and outpatient settings until transitioning to the teletherapy setting in 2023. She has experience with a variety of communication disorders including speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, and social communication disorders. She also has experience working with a variety of pediatric populations including children with ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, and congenital syndromes/anomalies. Her expertise is with early communicators, especially those with complex communication needs requiring AAC, such as communication boards or speech-generating devices (SGDs). Her therapeutic approach is to provide compassionate, client-centered, and client-responsive services to maximize students’ functional communication and learning in the classroom (and have some fun along the way).
Alyssa has been providing speech and language teletherapy services since 2022 to students in
the school setting. She has a very diverse background in the field of speech language pathology.
Prior to teletherapy services, Alyssa has had experience working with individuals of all ages
providing treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
across various settings, including public and private schools, outpatient and inpatient settings
as well as residential care facilities.
Alyssa is very passionate about working with individuals who have various communication
needs and enjoys making a difference in the lives of her patients and their families.
Alyssa has been a speech language pathologist since 2017.
Joy has experience providing teletherapy speech and language services to students from preschool through 12th grade in Wisconsin since 2019. Prior to becoming a teletherapist, she worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist in two Wisconsin school districts as well as in Birth to 3, inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. Joy also has previous experience as a fourth grade regular education teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools. She has years of experience working with students with articulation, phonology, language, fluency, and social communication needs. Joy believes in the importance of incorporating creativity and fun into functional, evidence-based therapy practices in order to keep students engaged and motivated to meet or exceed their goals She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007.
